...yesterday we found something else - a turtle, exhausted and barely able to stay afloat any longer, supporting a frog on its back while a spider clung to the frog’s head to avoid drowning....

Sisters are doing it for themselves in this big-hearted anthem to freedom and heritage. The tropes and trials of the Old West are given fresh currency when seen through the eyes of African-American women, fleeing racism and the wreckage of Reconstruction. They find big sky and bigger dreams on the prairie, but all they’ve won hangs in the balance as a scoundrel schemes and bullets fly.

Mas, the crazy good Tapas restaurant in cville wins c-ville weekly's Best of Charlottesville award for the restaurant category. I completely agree with this one.....and there is much to be said for eating at the elegant concrete bar. While you can't see the eye candy coming in, the view of the kitchen in action is more than worth it with a glass of Chimay.
